GLP Creations – The Author, is a high end A5 ‘slim’ (just slightly narrower than traditional A5) notebook filled with 192 pages of the legendary 68gsm premium, acid free, Tomoe River paper. Selected by us, to bring out the highest level of shading and sheen from your inks when writing with a traditional fountain pen, our choice of writing instrument. The paper we use is exceptional though with any pen type.
We chose to use a 68gsm weight, as it provides a smooth and pleasurable writing experience, while keeping ghosting to an absolute minimum. We’ve also included a sheet of blotting paper within each notebook, for those situations where you simply can’t wait for your ink to dry. It’s the small details that make the difference!
The Author is bleed through resistant, even with BB and BBB nibs. It also includes those useful features such as a contents section, numbered pages, bookmark and an inside pocket for resources collected to assist you, help you reference and inspire your writing. The notebook is not too thick, so you can write to the edge of the page comfortably and for extended periods of time. It’s also lightweight and flexible, so you’ll be happy to take it with you everywhere. You never know when inspiration will appear! An elastic closure ensures that your pages remain protected when on the go.
Five stunning leatherette cover choices give the notebook an understated elegance and perfectly protect the pages within. Our Tomoe River paper is acid free, so you can be confident that your work will stand the test of time!
